Job Description/Requirements: Analyze and translate technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms to achieve business objectives. Focus on converting requirements into the architecture and design based on design patterns from previous engagements, published reference architectures and architecture patterns, and on guidance from enterprise architecture. Should be able to balance architectural concerns of the projects with the concerns of the enterprise by creating composite architecture that is scalable, reliable, available and manageable. Develop and administer application-specific standards such as user interface design, globalization, Web services, portal application programming interfaces, and content. Focus on the infrastructure technology principles, standards, and patterns that can be highly leveraged across multiple solutions to ensure the solution design meets the goals of scalability and complexity reduction.
• Should have 10 plus years of experience with IT development/architecting
• Should have good knowledge on agile processes
• Should possess sound knowledge on IT Application architecture, Design/ Microservice design methodologies across multiple platforms
• Should have practical experience with deploying to a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Bluemix, etc) and/or Docker experience would be a plus
• Should have good grip on non-functional areas like performance, scalability studies, human interaction, software ergonomics
• Commitment to quality
• Critical reasoning skills, Decision making skills
• Financial industry experience will be valuable

• JAVA/J2EE/ Programming Languages Collections, Multithreading, JMS, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, JSTL, EJB,ESB, AJAX, Web Services (SOAP, REST), HTML, XML
• Databases: Oracle, PL/SQL, UDB/DB2
• Framework/APIs/Tools Apache Struts jUnit, Spring, Bootstrap/Google Material (JS/CSS UI frameworks),Hibernate, Web Services (SOAP,RESTFUL), AJAX, jQuery, log4j
• Application Servers: WebSphere 9.0, Tomcat, JBoss
• Experience in Azure or AWS, FOSS License models
• Methodologies Waterfall, Agile, TDD (Test Driven Development)
