Active Directory Security Admin

Preferred locals or who can relocate to NYC area.

Remote for now

Technical Requirements:

Windows – AD, Group Policy
Cloud – Office365- Azure
Security – Security Tools – AV, Proxy Monitoring/Filtering, SIEM,
Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and administration of Microsoft Windows systems and endpoint security.
Manage the Windows Server Infrastructure including, Active Directory, Exchange Servers, File Clusters, and Print Servers.
Maintain Operating System baselines (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Workstation 10).
Functional knowledge and practical experience working on Active Directory Group Policy.
Working knowledge of VMWare Esxi, VXRAIL (install, configure, and perform maintenance of virtual environments (VMWare Esxi), including virtualized servers).
Experience in interpreting, writing and debugging PowerShell scripts.
Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
Implement, install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing and new Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Implement hardened settings to improve security posture of endpoints including restricting use of local admin accounts and implementation of least privilege principle.
Provide support to technical staff, who are involved in diagnosing and correcting system related failures and performing system management activities; determines logical solutions to complex system administration and application problems
