Title: Workday Consultant - Techno Functional

Description:
Seeking a HR or Finance resource to work in the functional area to assist in configuration of Workday in HR and Candidate should have a strong background in Workday Core HCM and additional positive would be strength in Peoplesoft.
This position requires a highly techno/functional person that should be a leader in Workday functionality. Role will be responsible for configuration and testing of updates and day to day activities within the group.
This is a techno-functional role working with power users and senior leadership that requires excellent communication skills to hold stakeholder meetings when required and clearly articulate improvement strategies.
The Consultant will advise on or manage the solution configuration for large complex Workday engagements. Additionally, He/she will participate in project teams that are designing, developing, selling, and delivering a portfolio of service offerings focused on Workday Financials solutions.
Work with clients, Workday functional architect, and other project consultants to gain an understanding of customer financial requirements
Participate in Workday financials process discussions and related configuration
Workday Financials Core Certification preferred.
Or alternatively at least 3+ years of commercial experience in other Financials application implementation (SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle or cloud based financial platforms
Excellent communication skills delivering to functional and management audiences, as well as to external Clients
Practical experience gained on Financials implementation projects
Practical experience gained on Financials data migration projects
Willing to develop strong consulting skills, handling customer expectations
Interest in contributing to practice growth and eminence
Analytical mindset and usage of analytics and reporting tools (eg. pivot tables)
