Job Description:
Nutanix "*AOS code install
Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux
Updgrades and patch installations
Design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with products’ architectural blueprints
Install, support, and maintain Nutanix solutions
Understand the whole stack of hardware and its interaction with software
Implement software that governs, monitors, and takes action on anomalies in the system.
Work on making the Nutanix software stack highly reliable and performant via OS level tuning and configuration." "
Provide subject matter expertise for Nutanix installations, upgrades, and patch installations
Manage, install, and configure Nutanix hardware
Provide technical leadership on Server technology. Facilitate across engineering teams to explore new technologies and enable integration into platforms and Nutanix software solutions.
Follow Server, Storage and Networking landscape closely, evaluate solutions from different suppliers, and own qualification processes for inclusion of the components into the Nutanix Compatibility list
Application Virtualization
Server Virtualization
Networking, Storage, and Platform Performance/Sizing.
Have strong experience/working knowledge of public cloud technologies
Strong knowledge of designing and development of distributed systems software on large datasets for machine learning and analytics
Application development experience in containerized environment (Docker, Kubernetes etc)
Skills Understanding and working knowledge of Hypervisors, Hyper-V, KVM & ESXi is an added advantage.
Building clustered, high- performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems software Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization and/or storage management"
