Position: Test Engineer
Location: Foxbro, MA
Duration: 6 Months +
Test Engineer who moves quickly, is capable of breaking down and testing complex problems, and has a strong will to get things done by automating testing. The Test Engineer is responsible for developing software test programs to validate firmware/hardware features and system performance using automated tests. The Test Engineer is a key member of the product development team, who will identify product bugs, and resolve them early in the development cycle.
Essential functions:
Develop and maintain automated LabView test programs for validating system functionality and performance in new product/technology
Responsible for test plan creation, test case design, test schedule tracking, test execution, and test reporting.
Provide feedback for constant process and product improvement
Establish and maintain traceability of requirements to testing results
Documentation of test plans, cases, and reports
Assure proper safeguards are taken for all testing activities
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
2 + years of professional experience in an engineering or technical capacity.
1+ year of experience with Experience with test automation using LabView software
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with data acquisition systems
Self-motivated and ability to think creatively, solve problems in a dynamic environment.
Hardware aptitude and experience with electro-mechanical systems
Strong ability to work collaboratively across functional disciplines and teams.
Effective technical documentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
