Job Description:
The Database and Report Developer is an Information Technology (IT) position that will work with Long-Term Care Regulatory Services to create reports from the Texas Unified Licensure Information Portal (TULIP) and the Waiver, Survey and Certification (WS&C) application data. These applications were created using the Salesforce platform. The worker will focus on data extraction from Salesforce into the regulatory services data warehouse and the creation of reports using Tableau.
The workers responsibilities and skills must include but not limited to:
Knowledge of the Salesforce platform’s underlying database
Creation of reports in Salesforce.
Experience with implementing extraction, transformation and loading of data from transactional systems into a data warehouse.
Experience in creating Tableau reports and dashboards.
Experience with Oracle databases, data marts, table creation, and SLQ tuning.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and perform the build activities to deliver a solution from the design stage to a functional application.
Coach and mentor peers and emerging members of the team and participate in code reviews to ensure development quality.

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
8 Effectively communicate with non-technical audience to understand business needs and explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear and concise manner.
8 Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of business users.
5 Develop reports and dashboards using Tableau desktop.
5 Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, and Sybase databases and the associated query languages (SOQL, Sql, pl/sql, etc
5 Create data marts to support complex reporting queries.
5 Performance tune SQL queries including alteration of database objects to increase performance.
3 Experience using agile for project management methodologies
2 Experience with Informatica for ETL processes.
1 Salesforce reporting experience using built-in reporting and Einstein/Wave.
1 Data Migration experience using Jitterbit Data Loader, Mulesoft or other Salesforce data extraction tools.
