Sr. BI Analytics Developer

Client hiring for a Sr. BI Analytics Developer, who will support multiple business needs, across the enterprise, in building and implementing BI solutions.
Develops business intelligence solutions through knowledge of user needs, appropriate data repositories, business intelligence development best practices and innovative use of technologies and systems
Develop strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality;
Participate in design reviews of data warehouse deliverables such as data models, ETL processes and data quality assessments
Designs and builds conceptual, logical and physical dimensional data models and third normal form artifacts. Provide guidance on various data schemas and normalized and de-normalized data models
Delivers ad hoc data and report requests, analyzes data needs for both users and projects, investigates and analyzes data discrepancies, and assists in migration and testing activities.
Designing and developing tabular cubes/models for optimal performance and ease of use
Deployment and configuration of cubes/tabular models
Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience and minimum three (3) years’ IT experience
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge and experience in Oracle and data warehouse environments
Possess experience in all stages of BI project work (gathering requirements, logical design, physical design, implementation, testing and deployment
Knowledge of BI implementation methodologies and will have in-depth experience
Strong SQL skills and sound PowerBI (DAX) development experience
