Description:
The basic job is to come into a highly complex, undocumented SaaS environment and take control of the day to day work including:
Highly complex major / minor software releases / deployments
Day to day alert monitoring and management
Document everything
Data management - adding new clients, removing clients, and other data management
Perform mid-level DBA functions in MySQL and Vertica
Manage real-time data replication from MySQL -> Vertica
Troubleshoot network issues
Respond to requests from Dev/QA for infrastructure (mostly AWS)
Provision VMWare instances
Manage 3PAR storage arrays
Finally, prepare and transfer this knowledge to team in Bangalore.
