Sr. Selenium Consultant @ Dallas, TX for 12+ Months contract
Interview : Face to Face
Required:
3 - 4 years of experience in Selenium # Java Test Automation
Experience in working Integrated development tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ.
Experience in BDD Tools like JBehave or Cucumber and CI Tools like Jenkin
Experience with Automation framework development is MUST.
Knowledge, skills and experience in automating test cases considering test-driven development, behavior-driven development (Serenity, JBehave BDD frameworks), acceptance test-driven development (TDD
Perform automated testing within an iterative agile environment.
Proficiency in the following tools / technology:
o XML testing using SOAP UI
o Command line interface in Unix/Linux to validate log files
o JIRA, HP ALM
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and strong oral and written communication skills
Should have good experience of working with different stakeholders like business customers, Scrum master, Product owner and offshore team members.
Desirable experience:
Should have good knowledge on Airline domain
Responsibilities:
Understand the user stories and their acceptance criteria.
Scope and estimate the test automation effort for user stories.
Writing, executing and maintaining software test plans
Testing software both manually and through automated methods, following test instructions in a test document
Write and maintain test automation
Develop quality assurance standards
Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures related to software testing
Communicate defects and verify fixes within each increment.
Understanding complex business scenarios and system integration. Should be able to design and execute end to end test system test cases.
Analyze issues and explore work arounds
Participate in all agile ceremonies (standups, planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives) ensuring QA and testing is continual represented and effectively incorporated into all aspects of the project.
