Title: SQL Developer [XTGL_46564]
Location: 100 % Remote Job
Type: 12 Months Contract
Overview:
Will be replacing what they consider to be their Master Data Management system.
It is the front end to configuring customers and their access and processing characteristics on the platform.
Looking for a consultant to help with that work.
Right now doing a lot of knowledge management activities and data modeling – conceptual relationship diagrams, putting together data dictionary on physical side, getting physical ERD’s together.
Team:
Overall Team is composed of database developers and data architects within ‘Freight Payments’.
Currently have scope over the BI systems and majority of OLPT systems of the platform.
Have large OLPT systems relative to the rest of the industry.
OLPT environment is 5 database instances with a total space of 30 terabytes in production space.
The customer facing applications have a high demand for efficient database code.
Overall the team is a set of dedicated database developers and specialists.
3 BI employees & 8 OLTP Developers.
Skills:
Should have Data Modeling Skills
Excellent Development Skills in DB2 and SQL
Experience with performance tuning and query optimization
Understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality Methodologies
Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
MDM background is Preferred
