Job Description :
Duties & Responsibilities:
Over 4-8 years of experience in Information Technology
3+ years working as a database developer working with PostgreSQL
Minimum 1 year experience with Postgresql
Minimum 2 year experience with Python programming
Strong in SQL, PL/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
Experience with database development and ETL processes
Build SQL queries implementing functions, packages, views, triggers, and tables
Perform database operations and queries using PgSQL.
Proficient in Python programming
Development tools include Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, PyCharm, Docker Compose
Proficient developing complex queries in SQL
Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON.
AWS experience is a plus
Experience with DST Systems for investor, investment, advisor/intermediary, and asset
distribution for direct and intermediary sales of mutual funds, alternative investments,
securities , brokerage accounts, and retirement plans
Solid understanding of database design principals
Solid understanding of query execution plans
Good performance tuning skills
Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database
systems issues.
Problem-solving skills

Experience working in an Agile Development Software environment
Trusted to work independently with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent data gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Data warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data mining
Experience in Financial Services industry
