Project Manager – End User Support
Philadelphia, PA
6+ month contract to start could go long term
Must be local to do F2F interview
Our client in the Philadelphia area is looking for a Project Manager – End User Support to join their team. This is a 6+ month contract with a very well-known organization.
Position Description:
· Work with team members to stand up all areas of End User Support for 3 active acquisitions and 2-3 other large projects immediately.
· Maintain projects surrounding end user computing needs of any of the following: (open a new office, close, restack an office, mergers, acquisitions, etc. 3 mergers in past few months in California, Pittsburgh, and Boston Deliver integration of End User Support
o Laptops
o A/V
o Network Infrastructure
o Wireless
o Any associated areas around end user computing
o Networks (building out the LAN, Network, etc
o Building out the server room (cabling, racking, cooling, power, structured cabling, etc
o Desktop – laptops, PCs, Macs (some of this including procurement, working with Desktop Engineering team to get it built, buying screens and docking stations)
o Enterprise space (Microsoft Office 365, email, SharePoint, Skype for Business, delivering these capabilities to teams)
o Active Directory
o Configuration of meeting rooms
o Configuring inviting people to meetings in Outlook
o Cloud storage and on-prem storage
o Telephony requirements (in meeting rooms, Skype for Business, Office365 in the cloud)
o A/V Audio Visual in meeting rooms (screens installed, etc
o Printing
· Attention-to-detail
· Work within a waterfall methodology
· Learn context of organization and systems
· Some travel involved to meet with stakeholders at offices you are setting up. (expensed)
Required Skills:
· 3+ years experienced Project Management with a good enough understanding of how to deliver this type of project, building out the end user needs at a new office facility or doing a refit of an existing office facility.
· 5+ years of strong and broad technical understanding of end user computing (not hands-on, but understanding of how it’s done) including:
o Networks (building out the LAN, Network, etc
o Building out the server room (cabling, racking, cooling, power, structured cabling, etc
o Desktop – laptops, PCs, Macs (some of this including procurement, working with Desktop Engineering team to get it built, buying screens and docking stations)
