JOB SUMMARY: The programmer/analyst is responsible for supporting the conversion activities, interface development and testing activities for the Oracle Fusion ERP cloud project implementation.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop scripts and code to support the Peoplesoft financials data conversion to Oracle Fusion ERP cloud. Modules include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management and contracts.
PeopleSoft table/data layout knowledge required
SQR / Query / SQL knowledge needed for creating conversion code
Data mapping / transformation from PeopleSoft to Oracle-Cloud format (FBDI templates)
Interfaces and integrations - Understand current file layout and data extracts and assist with mapping and design
Assist with Interfaces development - Lean Specification, update and review
Assist with file transfer, boundary system and vendor coordination for testing and validation
Assist with multiple iterations of conversion spanning the development sprints, testing cycles and UAT phases.
Effectively work with Business Users and IT developer team to deliver the requirements
Utilize best practices and tools for programming and analysis.


Skills and experience

Experience in PeopleSoft programming, SQL Skills required, knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP cloud helps but not essential.
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 and/or 9.2 (modules AP, AM, and GL) – understand the Chart of account structures and hierarchies
Hands on experience with interface development and coordination. – Bank files, external system interfaces, and other vendors
Ability to write simple and complex Functional/Technical Design Specifications in a clear and concise manner.
Experience in major ERP implementation – conversion, development and testing support.
Ability to analyze data and create validation reports
Provides user and management support as required


Competencies (as demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing):

Experience implementing & supporting large ERP systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SAP strongly preferred)
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, other teams and customers.
Strong problem solving, and analytical skills are required
Demonstrated understanding of database technology and solid experience using SQL and report development.
Ability to be an effective team member.
