Job Description :
Full stack developer

West Hills, CA

12 months contract



Requirements

BS in Computer Science or similar degree

2+ Years in experience as a full stack developer.

Knowledge of cloud architecture using AWS or Azure.

Experience with front end frameworks, such as Angular and React.

Strong knowledge of OOP using mainstream programming language, such as C# or Java.

Experience writing efficient SQL queries for MS SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle

Strong knowledge of frontend stack (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)

Experience with Version Control Systems (Git, SVN, ect)

Understanding Agile software development.

Ability to tear down complex problems into smaller components.

A self-starter that is able to work with seamlessly with a larger team.

Develop solutions that reduce total cost of ownership over the long run.

Experience in Agile project management methodology.



What we do:

We develop an internal MES software platform used by various Thermo Fisher sites to manage product manufacturing.

Our software stack follows a 3-tiered architecture in AWS using Angular 7 (Front end), C# Core (API), and SQL Server (Database



Nice to have:

Familiarity with Bootstrap and similar front-end design frameworks

Test Driven Development

Parsec TrakSys 8, 10 or Experience

Experience in manufacturing execution systems.

Equipment integration experience using IoT, OPC and/or Kepware
