Location: Pittsburgh, PA

POSITION SUMMARY
Software developer is responsible for developing software applications to ensure the software solutions meet the design intend and data integrity requirements.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement Probe test program to meet testing and Data Integrity requirements.
Design and implement product equipment upload program to interface with 3rd party software and SAP through API.
Design and implement First Run Yield production failure database to meet user and Data Integrity requirements.
Architect, collaborate, create specifications and design documentation for software applications;
Work collaboratively within multi-disciplined teams to achieve program technical and schedule objectives;
Independently plan and manage own work activities to given project objectives;
Provide timely communication of project risks and issues, including the ability to meet established commitments.
REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES
Education Requirement(s):
B.S. in Software Engineering or other appropriate scientific discipline
Skill & Competency Requirements:
Minimum of four (4) years combined experience of .NET application development
Proficiency in software and database development tools – C#, Restful web services, and SQL Server Database;
Working knowledge of 3rd party application programming interface (API) development
Working knowledge of SAP interfacing.
Other Requirements:
High-performance orientation with strong attention to detail;
Self-directed and total ownership attitude towards organization and prioritization of work assignments;
Ability to develop creative solutions to technical challenges;
Working knowledge and proven skills of PC computer operating system including Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferences:
Microsoft .NET development certification
Technical knowledge in GMP and standards;
Excellent verbal, written and listening skills;
Very good communication and project management skills;
Engineering knowledge crossing into multiple technical disciplines.
