Location: Skillman, NJ 08558 (Onsite Interview)
Type: 6 Months Contract


Job Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required
A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant architectural experience
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant Digital, Data/Analytics, eCommerce, and Product Management experience
A minimum of five (3) years of experiences within the Consumer Good industry
Strategic thinking and deep understanding of business strategy, competitive landscape, and knowledge of broad spectrum of digital technologies is required
Strong strategy management, analytical thinking, problem solving, learning agility, communication, and collaboration skills are required
Strong organizational skill, proactive planning and ability to anticipate stakeholder needs is critical for this role to ensure well-orchestrated team operations
Deep understanding of business drivers/processes and the ability to relate priorities to associated technology capabilities and investments is required.
In-depth knowledge of architectural frameworks and principles (e.g EA, TOGAF, Gartner)
In-depth knowledge and experience with the Software Development Lifecycle and agile ways of working, principles, and methodologies (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, Design Thinking)
In-depth knowledge of new computing architectures and the implementation of networked computing structures emphasizing distributed computing; direct experience with Web architecture, HTML5, SOA, and object-oriented design
Working knowledge of technologies and platforms such as Java, Drupal, Salesforce,
Solutions-oriented expertise in implementation of modern Digital Marketing platforms that transform consumer experience including Content Management, Customer Account Management, Marketing/CRM/PM, and eCommerce is required
Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technology assistance.
Provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving architectural recommendations.
Architect end-to-end solutions across distributed and host environments. Define pros and cons of solution options to arrive at consensus around architecture decisions.
Define strategic multi-year roadmap, reference architecture and architecture standards for the Enterprise. Lead proof of concept efforts for candidate architectures.
Assist in the remediation of application stability and performance.
Perform project level design, debug and performance analysis.
Work with product management areas to establish required infrastructures and frameworks.
Perform product evaluations and proof of concepts.
Possesses strong foundational technical skill sets and architecture experience which can be leveraged as use of current and newer technologies is expanded in applications.
Proven ability to create an architecture solution in alignment with the reference architecture and utilize foundational services to address the quality attributes (non-functional requirements) of the solution.
Ability to influence teams to a future state while understanding the need to make practical decisions along the way.
Knowledge of multiple development technologies including but not limited to Java, Ruby, Scala, Python, C++, .NET, SOA, XML and SQL server.
Experience with Node.js, Angular, React or similar technologies Cloud platform as a service micro-services architecture and architecture models is a must.
Ability to learn the latest technologies and be self-started in running proof of concepts to determine how they can be applied to solve needs within the organization.
Ability to quickly comprehend and adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
Ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives.
Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems.
Knowledgeable in all aspects of designing and constructing business and technology processes and functions; experience with process redesign methods and tools
Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation and organization change management.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects.
Demonstrated experience engaging and communicating with executive leadership
Significant experience working across multiple levels of an organization at global scale is required
Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
Ability to manage high level of complexity, to be comfortable operating in ambiguity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiating skills, and the ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with exceptional service orientation
Competent with Microsoft office tools and productivity tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Yammer, MS Teams, SharePoint


Key Responsibilities:
Drive strategic architecture activities and outcomes in support of the Consumer Technology Digital Product Line.
This includes establishing and maintaining the current and target state product landscape artifacts, reference architectures, and the corresponding digital roadmap.
Accountable for ensuring that our Digital Product ecosystem enables agile/rapid delivery, is fit-for purpose, secure, and continually managed from a cost perspective.
Partner with Product Owners and regional teams to establish digital to solution blueprints, maximizing value while ensuring convergence across overall regional architecture and driving leverage of global products where appropriate.
Understand, advocate and augment the principles of business and IT — and more specifically architecture strategies to enable business outcomes.
Provide strategic consultation to relevant stakeholders in defining or designing business/technology processes, technology solutions, as well as in researching and identifying and fit-for-purpose technology capabilities/products based on customer requirements.
Seek ways to apply new technology to, and reuse existing technology for, business processes; research and provide information on technical trends and competitors'' practices relevant to assigned stakeholders.
Assess near-term needs, using structured interview processes, to establish business priorities; consult with technical subject matter experts and develop alternative technical solutions; advise on options, risks, costs vs. benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.
Participate in Consumer Technology strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.
Protect J&J by ensuring Information, Security and Risk management compliance requirements are met, while managing technology/capability fragmentation
Support the definition of the architectural principles and governance frameworks that guide technology decisions.
Support the facilitation of cross-region and cross-Consumer solutions that combine knowledge of business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques.
Develop, motivate and direct staff to create a team environment, and enable staff to fulfill the customer operating objectives.
Analyze technology industry and market trends and determine their potential impact on the enterprise.
Executive presence and ability to engage with senior leadership stakeholders.
Forms and maintains strategic relationships and partnership with relevant leaders, leadership teams, and stakeholders across Consumer BT, Consumer, and JJT.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to others through direct line and matrix organizations.
