Job Description:
The DSHS Provider Managed Enrollment System (PMES) project will remediate the current Central Billing System (CBS) to:
Remove the Texas Provider Identifier (TPI) references on all screens/reports
Migrate database from Sybase to MS SQL
Ensure operability on the updated infrastructure
Database Architect will perform the following duties:
Reviews the current database designs and stored procedures
Develops strategies for database migration plan from Sybase to MS SQL
Implements database migration plan from Sybase to MS SQL
Develops integration test plan for CBS program to ensure database operation and correctness
Works with other project team members on design, code development, test plan, documentation
Other duties as assigned as required to complete the project.

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience working with database design and migration and working with stored procedures
5 Understand database architect and management
2 Sybase and MS SQL development
Strong User created DLLs
Strong Excellent analytical, problem-solving, team playing and communication skills.
Strong Data security
Competent Software Development Life Cycle

Preferences:
Years Skills/Experience
1 or more MS Visual Studio, C#, VB.Net
