Title: Business Analyst [XTGL_45718]
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Type: 12 + Months Contract
Description:
Responsible for discovery and analysis of sources for reference data, gathering use cases and creating business requirements, working with project team through all phases of implementing and publishing new master and reference data.
Will be working on the migration of data from database to new Master Data Management (MDM) platform.
Requirements:
Data analyst/business analyst – documenting, requirements, some excel, more BA work than DA work (60/40)
BA, data mgmt. and analysis
Documentation and business requirements
Others help lead requirements but need that documentation exp
Flipping over to Informatica/RDMA (yesterday) will be fully there next couple months – nice to have
SQL still required
Required Skills :
Business Analyst
SQL
Master or Meta Data
Data Governance
Desired Qualifications:
Strong Business Analysis experience with documenting requirements and interfacing with business partners
Intermediate SQL and database skills
Informatica RDMA knowledge
Data analysis experience
Background with Risk & Regulatory reporting is nice to have
Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
Manage master reference data and publish for enterprise to use things like Zip codes, country codes, calendars, dates publishing the stuff we take for granted each day
Data is used for Risk and regulatory purposes
Need someone who can be standalone
Do their own research, reach out to various groups, come up with ideas on how to document things
