Job Title: Workday QA Tester State of Maine IT 2020-18996
Location: US-ME-Augusta
Duration : 1 year

Overview:
State of Maine Dept of Information Technology needs a Workday QA Tester for a one year + contract opportunity. Need strong candidates with the required skills. Local candidates and regional candidates will be highly preferred.
The State of Maine is looking for a skilled Tester with BA/QA skills along with proven analytical skills and in-depth QA expertise. This role will be required to provide business analyst support to Business Owners, develop manual test cases (in a test case management tool), execute manual test cases, research issues, create defects and support issue resolution. It is expected that this team member will contribute to other SDLC deliverables to support in-progress deliverables.

Responsibilities:
The Workday QA Tester will perform the below responsibilities:
The ability to think independently, follow standards/processes and present solid work products.
Proven track record of developing and implementing test cases/suites for complex web-based applications.
Experience working in a dynamic environment and proven ability to prioritize effectively.
Ability to communicate in both technical and business terms.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Can anticipate, identify, track, and resolve issues with limited support and direction

Qualifications:
The Workday QA Tester will have the below Qualifications:
Are familiar with Smartsheet, JIRA, TM4J and other similar SDLC toolsHave previous experience with the Workday applicationPossess experience in time tracking, absence, benefits and payroll within the ERP system, expertise in these areas is strongly preferred.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communications skills
