JOB SUMMARY:
Work side by side with HCM Team as Workday Advisor and Project Manager. Provide internal Project Management, Vendor Management, Operation Analysis, Executive Planning, Stakeholder Relations and Quality execution. Ensures that HCM Implementation goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and on budget, working closely with Project Manager and HCM Implementation team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
· Coordinates all project activities, related to deployment of Workday application, including client related activities, risk management, internal Project quality reviews, Workday Delivery Assurance, and tenant management.
· Responsible for overall scope management and successful completion of all deliverables in adherence with the executed Statement of Work (SOW
· Builds and maintains project (work) plans following the Workday Methodology for, testing, budgeting, and project metrics, status reporting, executive and internal communications, and general daily management of key activities and consultants.
· Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Project Budget. This includes but is not limited to initial budget smoothing, forecasting and utilization changes and impact to budget.
· Prepare and substantiate any Change Orders as appropriate for execution.
· Responsible for tracking and management of consultant Expense budget as appropriate as defined by SOW.
· Facilitates discussions of business process reengineering, leading practices, and specific fit/gap issues.
· Acts as the liaison between the internal project team, executive team, and other key client stakeholders.
· Tracks project progress and manages expectations through successful project completion.
· Provides contingency plans to manage risks and assure project objectives are met.
· Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering Workday solutions to clients.
· Provides mentoring, guidance, and oversight to the team (from the Solutions Architects through the Principle Consultants) and into other roles on the project.
· Is responsible for project quality.
· Provides artifacts at project close end to internal PMO or other area as repository for project.
· Maintains the direct link between Workday and the client during which time they fulfill all DA required material and help to build the relationship with Workday.
· Helps senior management evaluate consultant performance.
· Evaluates project team readiness and recommends appropriate training if necessary.
· Serves as a role model by adhering to the highest level of integrity in project management.


SCOPE & IMPACT:
Leads cross-functional teams to implement Workday HCM solution. HCM advisor for Workday implementation.

MINIMIUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
· Workday Certified Customer Project Manager
· Workday Core HCM Certification
· Successful has led 5 or more Workday HCM implementations
· Proficient in the use of MS Office especially Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Highly competent in estimating, planning, tracking and reporting project status, while managing change requests and project scope
· Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
· Track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
· Strong sense of ownership with ability to take control of difficult situations
· Excellent facilitation skills in a small team setting
· Experience leading multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed teams
· A track record of delivering on agreed upon project objectives
· A history of excellence / superior performance against internal benchmarks
· Strong attention to detail necessary
· Up to 15% Travel.


PREFERED REQUIREMENTS:
· Master’s Degree.
· PMP Certificate.
· Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) / SHRM-SCP
· Ability to effectively work with both technical staff and business process owners.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and independently.
