Job Description:
We are looking for a Workday FINS Manager to join our Systems and Strategic Sourcing team. The ideal candidate will be a blended professional with extensive Workday finance technical experience who understands and has worked with business leads managing underlying processes in accounting and finance. This role will involve managing the continuous development, optimization, and security of the Workday platform while providing vision and oversight to departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Management: Manage the continuous development, optimization, and security of the Workday platform, ensuring data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and maintenance activities.
Analytics and Reporting: Develop and generate meaningful reports and analytics to support business decision-making and provide insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
System Optimization: Evaluate current system configuration, respond to requests on system capabilities, identify areas of improvement, and recommend, develop, and configure system solutions.
Testing and Implementation: Test new functionality, ensure successful implementation of solutions, coordinate system upgrades, create detailed test plans, and execute user acceptance testing with appropriate groups.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with business leads in accounting and finance to address data-related inquiries, resolve issues, and implement best practices for Workday updates and enhancements.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Workday functionalities and processes while staying current with platform updates and industry best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, or related field
7+ years of work experience with a minimum of 4 years of FINs/Workday experience
Proficiency in Workday finance technical areas including procurement, banking and settlement, FDM/chart of accounts, adaptive planning, accounting center and prism, integrations, and security
Experience with Workday Reporting, Workday Security, Workday Business Process Framework, and Workday Adaptive Planning
Proven experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving issues while recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Must successfully pass criminal and credit background checks to meet banking industry standards.
