Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Workday Configuration Lead to oversee the configuration, optimization, and administration of Workday HCM and related modules. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in Workday and a strong understanding of HR processes.
The Workday Configuration Lead will serve as a subject matter expert, driving system enhancements, managing integrations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable HR technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the configuration and ongoing optimization of Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Compensation (Core & Advanced), Benefits, Learning,
Succession Planning, and Payroll.

Serve as the primary Workday Systems Administrator, ensuring system integrity, data accuracy, and security.

Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits teams to implement new functionality and improve existing processes.

Manage and mentor junior HRIS analysts, providing guidance and oversight on day-to-day tasks and project deliverables.

Oversee system integrations and EIB data loads to support acquisitions, reorganizations, and other high-volume transactions.

Conduct audits and redesign security roles to ensure appropriate access and eliminate redundancy.

Lead Workday enhancement projects including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support HR metrics and executive decision-making.

Partner with external vendors and implementation partners to manage support cases and ensure timely resolution.

Stay current with Workday releases and best practices, recommending and implementing relevant updates.

Qualifications

hands-on Workday experience across multiple modules.

HRIS experience with a strong background in system administration and configuration.

Proven experience leading Workday implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.

Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity and process improvement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.

Experience managing and mentoring HRIS team members.

Proficiency in Workday tools including EIB, Workday Docs, and security configuration.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with integrations such as Skillsoft Percipio and third-party benefits administrators.
