Role: : - Windows Active directory/L3 Location: : Hartford, CT Duration: Contract Job Description: Must have experience in Design, Deploy, and Consolidation of Multi forest Active Directory Environment. Expert level knowledge on Windows 2008/2012 Active Directory. Experience in Creation and management of directory infrastructure, Includes FSMO roles, trusts, Kerberos KDCs, replication topology, etc. Experience in Creation and removal of domains, Planning and Designing Organization Unit (OU) Hands on Experience in Schema Modification, Maintaining security and integrity of schema. Hands on Experience in Directory services Backup, Restore and Recovery. Good Hands on Experience in Add, remove and configure Active Directory sites, sitelinks and subnets. Good Knowledge in Migrating Domains Controllers from Windows 2003/2008 to 2012 in a mixed mode environment. Analyze Active Directory architecture and settings and identify gaps. Must have Ability to manage AD Database (defrag of NTDS, ADM files, Log files, etc Must have Skills to maintain AD (check functionality of NTFRS, AD Replication, etc Skills to review all Active Directory reports and adjust thresholds as needed Expertise in Group Policy Object (GPO) /GPP administration, troubleshooting, and management Hands on Experience in Customize and Manage ADMT Templates Good knowledge in Testing and Deploying Windows Security and Critical Patches on Domain Controllers. Hands on Experience in LDAP Integration. Must Possess skills to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot - Active Directory, Global Catalog, FRS, etc. Customize PowerShell scripts to perform data sanitation, configuration and GPO policies Expertise in DNS, DHCP, WINS, Client Concepts Perform upgrades of Active Directory environment applying change management process Diagnose and resolve problems associated with the Directory Replication service Managing TS license service on Active Directory domain controllers Ensure overall security of the Active Directory domain. Ability to participate and contribute to a strong, supportive team environment. Solid analytical skills and the desire to gain further experience in multiple technologies. Excellent verbal and written skills Nice to Have Understanding of windows architecture and troubleshooting experience with the ability to analyze technical problems to prevent future occurrence. Planning of OS Hardening of Windows 2008/2012 Servers Hands on Experience in planning and guidance for creating Group Policy's and implementation as per standard procedures. Hands on RAID Configurations and Disk management utilities tools. Recovery of OS / Hardware to consistent state. Taking ownership of virus outbreak management. Testing of Monthly MS Fixes / Patches Experienced in performing Windows OS disaster recovery. Plan infrastructure Changes as per the process. Experienced in working on escalated tickets Experienced in co-ordinate with appropriate teams for call resolution for high severity or escalated calls. Troubleshooting escalated issues to Higher Up. Implementing best practices Maintenance and Upgrade of Patching Application and Reporting Systems Decommission server 3rd party vendor coordination and escalation Required Soft Skills Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) Good documentation skills Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio) Should have a great customer handling skills Able to handle unforeseen situations High level of acceptance
