Web Application Developer

Location: Chantilly, VA

Client: Noblis/ FBI

Salary: $120K to $130K plus Benefits

Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret (TS) with eligibility for SCI

Job Summary

The client is an experienced Web Application Developer responsible for designing, testing, and developing web-based software supporting the forensic and investigative ecosystem, creating testable and efficient code, and supporting multiple enterprise applications in a multi-enclave environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and develop web-based software using best practices
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes into functional code
  • Ensure software functionality through maintenance and testing
  • Document applications, services, or environments for future reference
  • Configure, administer, and manage website/application tools
  • Develop content for multiple websites/tools for information and decision making
  • Build searches, reports, and dashboards for web applications
  • Recommend software upgrades for current and future systems
  • Ensure web applications meet Section 508 compliance requirements
  • Implement security measures to protect web applications from vulnerabilities
  • Optimize web applications for speed and scalability
  • Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for SCI and ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 8 years of experience, or Associate degree with 11 years, or High School/Diploma with 14 years of experience
  • Experience with SAFe Agile framework
  • Strong understanding of web application security requirements
  • Experience developing complex web applications in government environments
  • Strong experience with Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Proficiency with HTML5/CSS3, RESTful API, Bootstrap, frontend build tools, backend web technologies (.NET C#, Python, Node.js), database integration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL), Section 508 compliance, web security best practices, and performance optimization techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with GraphQL and Elasticsearch integration
