Job Title : Network Architect
Location: Baltimore, MD , Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to support a large-scale enterprise network infrastructure in a hybrid role based in Baltimore, MD. This role involves high-level network design, implementation, and support for a complex, multi-site enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco technologies, cloud networking (especially AWS), and wireless networking solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
Network Architecture & Design
Design and implement robust network architectures for large enterprise environments with 3,000+ nodes
Lead the rollout of WLAN infrastructure upgrades and network equipment standardization
Cloud & Enterprise Connectivity
Architect and manage AWS networking and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions
Optimize cloud and on-premises integration for large-scale enterprises
Network Admission Control & VPN
Design, implement, and maintain NAC solutions for both WLAN and VPN access
Ensure compliance with security standards and access control policies
Project Management & Coordination
Oversee field installation contractors and coordinate hardware/software deliveries
Ensure timely deployment and execution of networking projects
Technical Support & Documentation
Provide Tier 3 (L3) network support and root cause analysis
Maintain network documentation and recommend performance improvements
**Required Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience
OR Master’s degree with 10+ years, OR Ph.D. with 7+ years of experience
**Certifications**
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Routing & Switching, Wireless, Security, or Data Center
Equivalent advanced certifications may be considered
**Technical Skills**
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
At least 3 years of experience with AWS networking in large-scale environments
Strong expertise in WLAN design, rollout, and maintenance
Proficient in managing NAC and VPN technologies
