Job Title : F&O Technical Architect

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced F&O Technical Architect to drive the architecture, solution design, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) across multiple business units. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the re-platforming of legacy AX 2009 ERP systems to D365 F&O, ensuring alignment with enterprise-level goals and integration strategies. Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and extensible technical architectures for D365 F&O (Finance, Supply Chain Management).
- Oversee the re-platforming of legacy AX 2009 ERP systems to D365 F&O for both B2B and B2C operations.
- Ensure all designs align with the Calandra End-State Architecture and enterprise integration strategy.
2. Integration & Data Architecture
- Architect and implement integrations with third-party platforms such as Shopify, Espresa, Paymentech, SendGrid, Databricks Lakehouse (Pet Registry, Microchip Registry), Azure Integration Services, and Microsoft Dataverse.
- Enable and govern Dual-write integration between D365 CE and D365 F&O for real-time data synchronization.
3. Development Oversight
- Provide technical leadership for custom development, extensions, and performance optimization in D365 F&O.
- Ensure code quality through solution reviews and adherence to Microsoft best practices.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and developers to ensure the technical feasibility and successful delivery of projects.
4. Data Migration & Platform Enablement
- Support the migration of data from AX 2009 to D365 F&O, including financial, inventory, and operational data.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of data across different legal entities and business units.
- Facilitate platform extensibility using Azure DevOps, Power Platform, and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
5. Governance & Collaboration
- Participate in architecture review boards and technical governance forums.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, delivery managers, and integration leads to ensure cohesive execution across teams.
- Provide technical documentation and ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in ERP technical architecture, with at least 5+ years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Expertise in:
- D365 Finance & SCM modules
- X++, LCS, Azure DevOps, Power Platform
- Dual-write, Dataverse, Azure Integration Services
- Proven experience in large-scale ERP implementations and AX 2009 migrations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, data architecture, and cloud-native design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert.
- Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Copilot, and Customer Insights.
- Familiarity with IPPD 365 or similar delivery frameworks.
