Position- Android Developer
Location- Mount View, CA (Onsite Role)
Interview- Phone and Skype
Duration- Contract Opportunity

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design and develop Android applications and/or services
· Integrate app with backend services
· Develop apps / libraries / SDKs for use by other teams
· Optimize app for on-device ML model execution
Required skills:
· Java and/or Kotlin programming for Android apps
· Writing asynchronous code: experience with variable management using one of Mutex / Lock / Synchronization
Preferred skills:
· One of Kotlin flows / RxJava / other functional reactive stream libraries
· Kotlin coroutines
Required qualifications:
· 5-7+ years’ experience with Kotlin / Java
· Experience designing and writing testable code.
· Emphasis on writing unit tests with good code coverage.
· Experienced with Android lifecycle & frameworks
· Experienced developing Pluses:
· Working knowledge of Google Protobufs
· Experience with Jetpack compose / Android Camera APIs / Room db
· Familiarity with integrating ML models with Android apps
· Experience developing Android Services
