Job Summary: We are looking for experienced VMware Operations Support Engineers to join one of the hottest Silicon Valley based technology firms in the world. Will be responsible for handling day to day VMware vSphere operation support and will need to have strong experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting large scale VMware environments and deployments. Will be responsible for troubleshooting and triaging of system alerts, and working with vendors on service requests and drive resolution. Responsibilities Include: Performance analysis of overall system health. System management and troubleshooting. Network configuration and performance. Software updates and deploy new systems. Work with team to identify and automate VMware operational tasks. Assist customers with Windows and Linux guest configurations as needed. Disk and Network management. Troubleshooting performance or configuration issues. Maintain documentation and update periodically. Escalate and communicate as per standard operating procedures. Participate in on-call rotation (as needed Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in a VMware vSphere operations support role. 5+ years of experienced troubleshooting large scale VMware environments and deployments. 5+ years of experience working in a Windows (required) and Linux (desired) environment.
