Job Title: UX Designer
Job will start as remote, but candidate must be flexible to move to Glendale AZ

Work Location Remote 100% needs to support different time zones both East and West

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

  • Manager is looking primarily at soft skills of the candidates: team player, strong design thought process and thought
  • This is working with the business and innovation team on Agile pilots.
  • Collaborates closely with the product team to understand product vision, and business needs and requirements as they apply to the user interface and experience.
  • Facilitates kick-off meetings with partners, stakeholders and internal project teams to determine application direction, strategy and constraints.
  • Helps product and development teams assess and prioritize opportunities and constraints.
  • Evaluate potential design solutions and determines approach to design challenges.
  • Accurately scopes tasks and provides timeline and resource needs to project management.
  • Frame's design approach, leads our partners through the digital process, and provides solutions to design and usability problems. Ensures brand consistency and maintains a user-centered approach in design and practice.
  • Rapidly iterates design prototypes and working applications.
  • Leverage existing design patterns for consistency and adhere to established UX and Brand standards.
  • Identify UX issues to ensure a quality product is deployed.
  • Guides product decisions through user research and iterative feedback loops.
  • Maintains a keen understanding of design principles and industry best practices, while staying up-to-date on current technologies and design trends.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer
  • -Expert knowledge HTML5/CSS3 and front-end development implementation
  • Proficient in A e Creative Suite, Axure, Omnigraffle, HTML5 and CSS 3 tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Familiar with the wide variety of usability concepts, best practices, and procedures, as well as the basic concepts of user centered design
  • Experience developing design plans/or gathering user research and insights to aid in the design and presentation process
  • Trained 'eye' for design elements, specifically around testing and reviewing implementation of a visual design style guide
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and lead cross-discipline design teams and collaborate with clients, developers, and fellow designers
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills
  • Ability to present multiple design concepts to problems
  • Ability to maintain focus on project detail and overall brand awareness while understanding and managing business partner and customer needs
