Position: UX Designer Location: Florham Park, NJ (starts remote; possibility of hybrid schedule post covid) Rate: negotiable Duration: 1 years W2 Contract to Hire Project: We are looking for a mid-level, or higher, proven UX Designer to join our Small Business design team with a focus on Retirement Services. In this roll you will translate complex concepts into simple processes to empower small businesses and employees to manage their retirement needs. If you are interested in helping entrepreneurs and local Mom and Pops to reach their dreams and take care of their employees, you have found the right place. Day to day: Creating user-first interface designs for web, mobile, and future focused technologies with an eye toward usability, business needs, and efficiency. Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams (strategy, engineering, data science and product management) to conceive and produce new experiences, products and services. Requirements: Minimum of 3 5 years on UX design, excluding other disciplines. Strong portfolio of recent top 3-5 works where you have implemented UX design. Have expert experience designing responsive web apps and mobile apps. Can speak to the problems you've solved and how your design solutions lead to an impact on the business metrics or user behaviors you were trying to drive. Able to present your process and not just the end results. Are able to show how you've evolved your solutions in response to qualitative end user feedback and/or quantitative metrics. You are an expert in: Sketch Invision Adobe Creative Suite Wire-framing User Journey mapping Prototyping market problems Analyzing usage data and traffic patterns Reviewing competitors' products for additional insights Required Skills : Minimum of 3 5 years on UX design, excluding other disciplines. Strong portfolio of recent top 3-5 works where you have implemented UX design. Have expert experience designing responsive web apps and mobile apps. Good communication.
