Job title : AWS DevOps Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:
The specific focus for the DevSecOps Engineer is on development, automation and optimization of the development and platform management lifecycle, including:
· The adoption of DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) best practices to implement CI/CD pipelines to design, build and test secure, scalable, stable, and efficient cloud-based applications.
· Engineering leadership for DevSecOps solutions using Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform Enterprise, GitHub, and Jenkins to automate various tasks for CI/CD, cloud management, systems engineering, and infrastructure deployments.
· Responsible for helping build and maintain secure SDLC practices with a code first approach in efforts towards continuous improvement that meet evolving security and compliance requirements.
· Identify and implement areas of automation to streamline software operations. Tune automation to overcome systems performance and stability issues.
· Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, supporting software packages, and containers or virtualization.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, maintain, and improve our infrastructure and tools.
· Independently troubleshoot complex systems and environments including applications, networking components and develop scripts, applications, and processes to improve system stability.
· Do code reviews and provide feedback on design documents and architectural decisions.
· Measurement, optimization, and tuning of system performance and ensuring that systems will run reliably and are highly available in a 24/7 production environment.
· Participate in our on-call rotation responding to production issues.
Requirements:
· This is a hands-on role, leveraging deep experience in Cloud / DevSecOps implementations, automating, provisioning, and managing of environments and topologies in AWS, systems administration, security, and full product life cycle to deliver complex, major, or highly visible capabilities in support of multiple projects that require multiple areas of expertise.
· Deep understanding of cloud architecture and services in Amazon Web Services.
· Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a fast paced, growing and rapidly changing environment.
· 3+ years of DevSecOps/Site Reliability Engineering experience.
· 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform Enterprise) technologies.
· Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Containers and Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
· 2+ years of software engineering experience capable of writing automation scripts with Bash, Python, or related languages.
· Experienced debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex, production software.
