Role          :   QA Test Lead (leading testing teams – Manual & Automation)

Location   :  Lisle, Illinois (Onsite)

Job Description:

  1. 10 years plus experience in software testing and minimum of 4 years as Test Lead (leading testing teams – Manual & Automation)
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work within a team and in collaboration with different teams
  3. Experience working virtually in a globally dispersed team
  4. Good understanding on Testing, Automation Testing, Performance testing concepts, Agile methodology and Knowledge on cloud Infrastructure and database concepts
  5. Should be able to implement automation strategy and guide the team.
  6. Experience with different test automation approaches (including BDD and hybrid) using the tools Selenium with Java / Cucumber / GIT - Knowledge at scripting/coding level
  7. Lead the delivery of testing activities, plans and processes for complex products or services ensuring product quality. Also, facilitates resource planning and resolution of issues that may impede the test effort and drives continuous improvement.
  8. Responsible for the planning, design, development, and support of test cases for functional and non-functional domains
  9. Lead the identification of the test scope and test environment set-up, prepares test plans, identifies relevant metrics, and keeps track of required effort for large initiatives
  10. Drive the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of testing procedures and strategies ensuring alignment to functional / non-functional requirements
  11. Responsible for generating test summary report and metrics
  12. Documenting testing process (Quick Reference Guide and Standard Operating Procedures).
  13. Develop trusted relationships with other IT groups and key business stakeholders to evaluate, recommend and implement testing procedures for products, systems, components, or modifications
  14. Responsibilities of Test Lead would be
    1. Estimating the testing needs based on project requirements
    2. Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
    3. leading the Testing Team to the success of project
    4. Managing resources for testing and coordinating with other project team members (Development, Business, Project Management)
    5. Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
    6. Planning, deploying, and managing the testing effort for any given engagement.
  15. An ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of testing lifecycle, agile and devops frameworks and knowledge of Quality Management techniques
