Firmware Engineer
LOCATION: ON SITE 5 days per week in Plano, TX (locals only)


Alredy had an interview and the candidate was rejected. just one and done round interview.

below is the rejection reason.

His embedded software experience and understanding of HW seem to be limited even on the projects he had already worked on.  We would like to move on to the next candidate.  We are looking for candidates who understand the projects they worked on very deeply at a technical level (HW and SW), so that they can adapt here in a challenging environment."
 

Moving forward-these candidates need to have an emphasis on the following:

  • Firmware Development on a product with web application interfaces or mobile application that ties to an embedded product. 
  • C/C#/C++
  • User interface requirement-Angular or JS

     

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Successful candidates will be responsible for the design and development of Firmware for medical device products.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science or related engineering field.
  • 5+ Years of Firmware design and development experience
  • Expert in C programming
  • Experience designing and developing firmware for microcontrollers & ARM Processors
  • Experience working within a regulated development environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience integrating firmware into IOS/Android
  • C++, C#, Java, Python coding skills
  • Familiarity with Debugging on HW with ICE, JTAG and other development tools.
  • Previous experience working within Medical Device Industry
