Description:
Strong knowledge in deploying Cassandra cluster across multiple locations
Maintain production Cassandra clusters and daily Operations; upgrade; and meeting application needs.
Provide application development teams with basic data modeling advice.
Plan for long-term Cassandra architecture and capacity. The requirements of our largest cluster are roughly doubling in 2016.
Troubleshoot Cassandra performance problems on a variety of underlying storage models.
Streamline operations with our configuration management system.
Work with the rest of the Operations team to achieve our overall goals.
Experience with linux systems
Familiarity with Python or Java
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to work both independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment
