Job Summary:

The Data Analytics Analyst designs data modeling/analysis services used to mine enterprise systems and applications for knowledge and information that enhances business processes.  This individual is also responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining data support tools, metadata inventories, and definitions for database file/table creation. Create architecture documents and diagrams.

Participates in project estimation and management.

Conduct data model and architecture reviews.

Provide guidance on ETL process.

Perform analysis and profiling.

Work on the creation DDLs, maintenance and optimization of database.

Enforce architecture standard and framework process.

Design/develop SQL Server queries.

Must Have

ER modeling experience

Experience creating database projects

Experience in database performance tuning, optimization and maintenance

Experience in data modeling

Experience in information systems, data warehouses, and decision support

Knowledge of standard industry data modeling tools

Additional Position Skills and Requirements       

The Marketing Operations Campaign and Audience Analytics position is a pivotal new role on the operations team.

It will allow our team to function faster by needing to access less tools for analysis and provide better data for the team to make more effective recommendations for segmentation and targeting.

While part of the role will be very technical (as they will be required to build dashboards from our data sets), the candidate will also need to analyze that data and communicate their findings.

The role will provide support for the Marketing Operation team, which focuses on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sets acquired and used across the studios various business units (Motion Pictures, Franchise groups, Tours, etc…).

This is a great role for someone that likes to solve problems through data and tools, while keeping a customer first mindset to apply learnings to our marketing execution.

A core function of this position is to build easily digestible data visualization dashboards (primarily via Tableau – but Power BI and Looker may be utilized as well), in order to deliver our team a macro view of our data ingest and audience cohort performance in real time for campaigns across linear, digital and CRM channels. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with relational and big data warehouses as well as writing SQL queries to join disparate data sets. Experience using ETL and pipeline automation tools like Glue or Airflow is a plus as well as we continue to build data pipelines.

In addition to the dashboard creation, this role will also require the ability drive our audience cohort analysis and recommendations for marketing. As our Marketing Operation team manages the data sets for the studio, its important that we understand how our data sets are performing so that we can source and advocate for data sets required to optimize our performance. This candidate will need to work with the various marketing teams to ensure taxonomy is used in a way to analyze performance and assist in finding new data sources or audience cohorts to improve scale and performance.
