Job title: API Developer
Location: Armonk, NY
Duration: 6 months
Looking for a API developer that has experience in insurance industry.
Technical Qualifications
Must have minimum 8 years executing Analysis, requirements gathering in both build (new APIs) and maintenance phases of a Large Integration projects
Must demonstrate ability of understanding Integration concepts around SOAP/REST, System Analysis, Data Mapping exercises
Have strong experience working with rules based decision engines, web applications and automation solutions.
Demonstrate ability with UML concepts, Sequence Diagrams, Use Case diagrams, writing technical requirement specifications and documentation
Experience in writing OpenAPI requirement YAML (Swagger expertise)
Clear understanding of different types of HTTP methods and error codes. Good judge of when to use which methods and what error codes to return as part of the response
Demonstrate knowledge in SOA, API, Micro-Services, Message oriented integration & streaming concepts and technologies
Experience leading requirements gathering and Interface analysis, in a high availability, high performance and cl environment
Have a good understanding of various integration patterns, SOAP/REST protocols, and familiar with XML, JSON
Experience in Analysis and requirements gathering for BPM and Rules Management products and projects is a strong plus
