Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead

Deliverables:

Provide change management and communication expertise in assisting WMATA to support their PeopleSoft ePerformance and eCompensation initiatives. Resource should be very knowledgeable in all phases of SDLC¿s and be able to adhere to WMATA¿s SDLC. This includes items such as creating a communications strategy and integrated change management schedule, writes news articles, updates web pages, develops storyboard or video scripts. Holds meetings with employee resource groups, takes notes and follows up with recommendations.



Supplemental Duties:

Supplemental Duties ¿ Execute organizational change management initiatives in coordination with IT projects ¿ Organize and track delivery of change management communication and training campaigns in Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Project ¿ Guide communication of the business case for change ¿ Align messages of organizational change management initiatives with WMATA strategic positioning and IT strategic plan ¿ Produce flow charts, printed communications, emails, PowerPoint documents, training materials, context diagrams, and other tools to communicate change decisions and component. ¿ Meet one-on-one and in group settings to present strategies, tactics and rationales for change and communicate business cases to decision makers ¿ Work with IT programs and projects to ensure change communications are synchronized with IT plans



Minimum Requirements:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Group presentation experience - Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience - Experience using Microsoft Excel to perform basic tracking of communications and training programs - Expert knowledge of Word and PowerPoint - Proven ability to implement IT change management initiatives - Proven ability to co-ordinate and plan IT training initiatives - Nine (9) or more years¿ experience Preferred Requirements - Experience in communicating rationale and business impact of IT projects and working with technical teams - Experience in training - Formal training in organization development, complex systems analysis, group facilitation, or information systems requirements analysis - Experience in managing or coordinating with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts for software application projects - Experience with gathering business data and user preference information from end users for use by technical teams in implementation of software application or ERP projects - Experience in transit industry software application change management projects - Experience in PeopleSoft ERP change management initiatives.
