Azure Data Engineer
This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity to go permanent.
Location: Waukesha, WI (Hybrid)
Candidates must interview onsite, and must be currently located in Wisconsin, no exceptions. Thank you!
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance data pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions
- Implement data warehousing solutions, including ETL processes and data modeling
- Develop and maintain data integration solutions, including API integrations and batch-processing pipelines
- Optimize data workflows and pipelines for improved performance, scalability, and reliability
- Ensure data quality and accuracy
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data engineering processes and solutions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT-related experience, with at least 3 of those being a Data Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong expertise in Python and Azure (Data Factory)
- Experience with data warehousing solutions, including ETL processes and data modeling
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
