This role is hybrid; 2 days/week onsite in Cincinnati, OH. 50% will be onsite and 50% remote.
What You Will Do
- Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and writing maintainable, supportable, and testable code
- Develop software meeting code quality standards and metrics
- Participate in communities of practice by contributing to and following standards, test driven development, reviewing others code, and sharing knowledge
- Develop and maintain data transfer jobs and schedulers, as required, including to identify and execute opportunities to automate
- Maintain effective partnerships with operations and engineering teams to drive service improvement
- Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance of audit requirements
- Other duties as assigned to support the dividend integration
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable
- 5+ years of experience preferably in Banking/Finance industry
- 5+ years of experience with UNIX scripting
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle Database maintenance, including table creation and structure update
- Strong SQL skills using AQT and/or SQL Developer
- Familiarity with data warehouse architecture techniques like Denodo, Kafka, EDW, ODS, etc.
- Understanding of Software Development Methodologies
- Understanding of security best practices
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft personal productivity tools (Word, PPT, etc.)
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Demonstrated collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Skills Nice to Have Skills
- 1-2 years of experience with ETL/BI development tools, specifically IBM Data Stage
- Familiarity with Cloud based data tools such as Snowflake
- Experience with workload scheduler. TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler) experience
- Experience with File Transfer Services. IBM Sterling experience
- Experience with ticketing systems, ServiceNow experience
- Experience with system monitoring tools, SiteScope experience
