UI/UX Developer
*Minimum 5 years of experience
*Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not a requirement
This person will be designing and developing the UI/UX of this portal.
Responsibilities:
Experience with both web and portal development including navigation and design
Research and keep up with current UI/UX trends in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry
Efficient in wireframing, prototyping, and communicating best practices
Developing information architecture
Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Executing all visual design stages from concept to completion
Ability to envision a cohesive user experience throughout all company digital platforms
Create and implement user flows and interaction
Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
Optimize websites to ensure fast loading speeds
Identify and troubleshoot various website issues
Involvement in user testing of applications, software and websites
Collaborate with team members (including designers, developers, leadership) to consistently improve functionality and user-friendliness of the web applications
Oversee proper implementation of UX through completion by communicating scenarios, end-to-end experiences, user interactions, and screen designs with the team
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of professional front end development around the user experience.
Experience with responsive web design.
Experience in developing rich applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience developing web services using any of the following: Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby, Go, or .NET
Experience with CUBA Studio IDE
Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Ember, Vue.js, Thymeleaf, etc and test frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, etc)
Experience with view layout and rendering technologies (e.g., responsiveness, progressive enhancement, browser/device support
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience or military experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.
Knows when (and when not) to use front-end software design patterns (e.g., asynchronicity, data binding, modules, MVC, objects, promises)
Experience with Azure and/or cloud computing
Agile software development experience
Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins)
Experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an Azure Cloud environment
Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
Good communication and presentation skills
