ABDS, Inc. is currently seeking for a UI/UX Designer

 

Position: UI/UX Designer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote).

 

Job Description:

  • Provide guidance to project teams on UX design projects ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client objects and exceed expectations.
  • Develop UX standards and best practices for the Design Thinking practice and the broader Process Optimization group to integrate into its operations and delivery.
  • Conduct and facilitate research activities to understand end users, their needs, pain points and requirements to optimize the end user experience and shape the design of solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops to generate innovative solutions to end-user challenges and pain points.
  • Translate low-Client requirements and wireframes into high-Client prototypes to drive alignment on features and functionality among key stakeholders.
  • Create designs for multiple contexts and devices (e.g. desktop, mobile, tablet) with special attention to info architecture (e.g. content grouping, hierarchies, system/process flow and user flows).
  • Plan and conduct usability tests and provide reports with actionable recommendations
  • Plan and conduct concept reviews, task walkthroughs and other evaluations to support the iterative design process.
  • Provide input on dashboard design, help set standards.
  • Interface with users to understand dashboard requirements and help translate to design.
  • Establish best practices for effectively designing a dashboard/communicating to end users.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience designing digital products.
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering successful UX design projects Should you be chosen for an interview you will be asked to present samples from your portfolio.
  • Proven track record in leading user research through several methods (e.g. user interviews, surveys, etc.) analyzing user research data, identifying end-user pain points, developing innovative user-centered solutions, and conducting usability studies.
  • Experience in producing wireframes, prototypes, process maps, journey maps, personas, service blueprints and other visual methods for presenting insights to stakeholders
  • Experience in planning and leading concept ideation workshops, analyzing, synthesizing outputs and delivering visual product designs.
  • Expertise in at least 2 core user experience competencies (e.g. research, information architecture, interaction design, interface design, front-end development and/ or content strategy).
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with demonstrated ability to present to and influence senior leaders.
  • Command of design basics including readability, accessibility, iconography, use of color and spatial relationships.
  • Proficient in wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma and Axure).
  • Experience with web, SaaS-based interfaces and/or dashboard design.

Ideal Additional Experience:

  • Experience with Design Thinking and Service Design and workshop facilitation.
  • Graphic Design.
  • Experience working in an Agile (Kanban) environment.
  • Certifications in UX and UI design good to have

 

Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
