Our Software Engineering/SQA department is currently in need of a senior QA Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be joining a global team of engineers who defines and establishes quality scalable engineering processes to test business critical tools. In this role, the candidate will be involved in establishing roadmaps and strategies for testing a business-critical product used for warehouse operations. Job Responsibilities
Collect and analyze customer functional requirements for creating Functional and Automation test strategies for testing user interface.
Define, implement, and manage Quality Assurance standards and frameworks for testing our customer User interfaces.
Develop new functional and automated tests for our UI in addition to executing regression of existing features using C# and Python
Works with other teams to develop functional and automated test cases, and test suites to ensure that software stack is thoroughly verified and validated through automated methods
Participate in Agile/SCRUM exercises such as standup, grooming, planning, and retrospective, to ensure the team is working effectively and managing its work
Contribute to the company's knowledge base by being the forward-thinking data technology expert
Keep up to date with latest technology trends
Qualifications
• Bachelors required; Master’s degree preferred in Computer Science or related field
• 5-8 years in software testing on commercial projects (.NET/C#)
• Minimum 3 years in creating software tests using python
• Strong knowledge of Test Framework design practices
• Experience with Smart bear testcomplete is preferred. ( Automation of Windows based applications)
• Be comfortable establishing testing frameworks from scratch
• Solid technical knowledge (OOP, Design Patterns, Databases)
• Experience with REST Web API testing
• Familiarity with CI tools and pipelines is preferred
• Experience in using source control systems, Git is preferred.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Clouds Hosting services is preferred
• Experience with Linux and ansible is preferred
• Microservices\Messaging\Monitoring - RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, ElasticSearch is preferred
