They DO NOT need pure QA tester rather looking for a data analyst (with very good SQL knowledge) plus tester. *QA Testers will be rejected if submitted. Duties or Responsibilities: Track and escalate production issues and report periodically to the testing team and project manager Analyze production issues to determine root cause and providing fix recommendations to the development team Support tasks to include alert monitoring for periodic jobs, opening trouble tickets, general escalation, client coordination, and vendor interactions. Assist with planning and testing of application, configuration and database design Direct the work of testing teams as they design and execute tests and evaluate results t Prepare test scripts, required test documentation, and test data Review test results and evaluate for conformance to design Translate verbal and written requirements/functional specifications into effective test cases/scenarios in order to conduct integrated, scenario-based user acceptance testing of a complex healthcare system Document defects identified during test case execution and work with developers to resolve the defects Create a test plan and a test calendar to coordinate testing within the project and establish time-lines for successful completion Assist in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks Work with client to resolve issues and validate requirements within their specific areas of responsibility Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews of test cases, test plans, and test case execution results Support User Acceptance Testing activities not specifically mentioned above Phone/Web based IVs will be conducted. The resource will support the Enterprise Data Warehouse Solution (EDWS) for the new Medicaid Enterprise System In this role, you will be responsible for communicating the UAT results back to the project team and for proactively troubleshooting/resolving any issues. Additional tasks will include performing problem solving exercises to determine issues and ensure the continued use of the application. TO NOTE when qualifying /vetting your candidates: They are looking for a SQL developer with production support, that supports UAT testing.
