Job Description:

Training Lead - Objectives

Collaboratively complete and refine overall training program.

Coordinate and oversee execution of the training program.

Create and maintain training content with WalkMe and website for use by trainers and staff.

Ensure trainers are adequately prepared to perform instructor-led training (ILT) in a manner that is consistent across 5 regions and 1,000 users.

Partner with a WalkMe consultant to continue implementation of the WalkMe tool.

Coordinate with the Office of Employee Development (OED) to ensure consistency in the design, development and delivery of training.

Interact with diverse technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization, maintaining excellent communication and responsiveness to Client staff.

Training Lead - Primary Activities:

Training Program:

Collaborate with the OnTrack team to manage the overall training program for active system functionality. This includes: manage and evolve the strategic training approach; develop and document training topics and sessions; manage WalkMe components and content; manage Website components and content: and other relevant training materials. Work with different staff roles to incorporate their considerations into the training materials.

Create interactive and engaging training session plans and content that help learners use the tools and processes optimally.

Update training materials for new system functionality as it is completed and rolled out.

Training & Guidance Materials:

In partnership with WalkMe consultant, create and refine WalkMe content for PMWeb functionality.

Perform updates to the project website in support of training and user guidance, using Google sites.

Develop reference and instructional materials and maintain them on the OnTrack website.

Create training step-through videos and post them to YouTube and the OnTrack website.

Translate any technical terminology into audience-appropriate language and content.

Create supporting training materials using various media as appropriate.

Write, design and edit training content using active learning methodologies, tools and best practices.

Identify training modalities, timing, materials and other needs.

Training Delivery:

Coordinate delivery of training across statewide users based on the training program.

Train designated training staff who will serve as OnTrack subject matter experts and will deliver instructor-led training (ILT).

Deliver ILT (including virtual) on technical how-to components of the OnTrack system.

Track staff training.

Develop training assessments to measure how effective the training is and identify areas to improve..
