Job Description :

Title: Sr RACF engineer
Duration: a long term project >12 months. ASAP Start.
Location: Remote.

  • Must have TKE experience and also worked with RACF and z/OS, as well as storage and Db2.
  • Administer and manage RACF and ACF2 security tools across multiple IBM z/OS and z/VM systems.
  • Define, implement, and maintain user profiles, permissions, roles, and group access settings.
  • Capability to evaluate existing security provisioning/setup, identify possible gaps, recommend solutions and effectively communicate with technical, operational and business teams.
  • Support mainframe security environment (Focusing on RACF but also ACF2 and TopSecret)
  • Identify security and system vulnerabilities and work with groups to resolve them.
  • Identify and verify a user via user id and password check (authentication)
  • Perform security audits and regular reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve access issues and security violations.
  • Support incident response and forensic investigations related to mainframe security.
  • Maintain access rights to the protected resources (access control) and Controlmeans of access to protected resources
