Job Description :
Role: Dev Test Engineer III
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: Long Term


Duties:
The Devtest engineer role will focus on Software testing(Manual and automation), validating & ensuring all software activities are held to a high standard of excellence. We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent team skills ready to work in a challenging environment.
Primary Responsibilities & Tasks

Work with development team members to understand product functionality and write Functional Test cases, System Test cases and Performance/Scale test cases
Automate test cases using test framework(s) (Selenium/Robot and similar Frameworks) based on product features and capabilities
Drive the Test Mindset in the team, set guidelines, identify gaps and develop/deploy frameworks for testing providing coverage from Unit Testing to Performance testing.
Plan for building and scheduling regression tests where applicable
Convert use cases into test cases utilizing test software (TestLink)
Ability to write clear and concise test cases whether automated or manual.
Bug reporting (Jira/Testlink), Bug Verification and automation
Ability to understand and test against positive/negative scenarios in order to find bugs and ensure quality of product release is issue free.

Skills:
Experience testing Angular/React based Web Apps
Experience in setting up and using Frameworks
Experience testing REST API''s.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Working experience in Software Devtest and testing methodologies.
Excellent teamwork skills and self-starter.
Working experience with white and black box testing.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience in a CI-CD-CD environment.
Experience with job scheduler (Jenkins
Experience with Javascript
Experience with Python is a plux
