TITLE: Test Coordinators Duration: 8+ Months Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Preferred background: Loss Mitigation Secondary background: Mortgage servicing, collections, foreclosure, or lending (within consumer banking) WE DO NOT WANT: Credit cards, car loans, leasing (these areas in consumer banking are not complex enough to translate to what they are doing) Companies to search from: Wells or HSBC (if from HSBC, please make sure they left on good terms since their exec is from HSBC!) are their #1 preference for previous exp, BOA is a good option as well! Personality: These people need to be confident, adaptable, and thrive in a busy environment! They are expecting an avg of 50 hr work weeks with constant surprises popping up, these CE's need to be familiar with that kind of environment and not afraid to take charge/run a room! Day-to-day: These test coordinators will be partnering with the BA's to review functional requirements and create user acceptance criteria (requirement gathering/exp working w/ biz lines and BA's is essential for this part of the process) Once the acceptance criteria is created, they will use that to build the test plans/test cases and identify then stage the loans *NOTE: During the staging process, the test coords may have to do some testing of their own so the plans don't go to the biz line full of defects. This is all done manually through Excel! Once this is complete & passed on to the UAT testers the test coord will help with tracking defects, answering tester questions in relation to the user acceptance criteria, and finding the root cause of defects then assisting in remediation This is a true end-to-end test coordination role! Exp with the biz line (loss mit/mortgage/collections/foreclosure) is important so they can accurately provide business line perspective during the acceptance criteria creation process.
