Job Description:

We are looking for a Manufacturing Test Automation Engineer to develop software for the manufacturing our electro/mechanical LIDAR sensor. The position requires a detailed oriented developer with Python experience to support our manufacturing team here and at our contract manufacturers. Experience in high volume manufacturing of electro/mechanical systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

· Develop test automation scripts in Python for manufacturing of LIDAR sensors.

· Support the manufacturing team at CM.

· Improve and document manufacturing processes.

· Setup, configure, and maintain software test labs and test environments.

· Should have good knowledge on Linux & Windows OS.

· Experience interfacing with electronic test equipment.

Required:

· B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering Computer Science, Physics or equivalent experience.

· Good knowledge of OO programming concepts.

· 3 + years of experience with Python or similar programming languages.

· GUI development.

· Working knowledge of SQL.

· Should have good knowledge on Linux & Windows OS.

· Experience interfacing with electronic test equipment.

· Professional experience of test automation design and implementation.

· Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills, and a

· thorough approach to problem solving. Fast learner, solid problem solver, with great testing and

· debugging skills.

· Working knowledge of statistics for process control.

Preferred:

· Experience with optics and lasers.
