Job Description :
Role : Test Automation Engineer
Location : St. Louis, Missouri
Duration: 6+ month contract
Moi: Phone and F2F (Skype for non-locals)
must have strong JavaScript development skills as they code everything in JavaScript, also position will consist of writing regression tests.
Responsibilities:
Write and maintain automation scripts
Automate backlog of existing manual test cases
Actively collaborate alongside technical staff
Assist in coordinating testing efforts across QA, User, BA and Development staff
Investigate and perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for issues uncovered by automated testing
Capture, analyze and verify bugs in the defect tracking system
Perform peer code reviews of automated tests
Create tests for a project and use those tests to demonstrate best practices to the next project
Create new automated UI test cases without formal requirements
Qualifications / Requirements:
3 + years of Test Automation experience through all SDLC phases
1 + years of Protractor, AngularJS testing
SmartBear testing tool suite – TestComplete (preferred)
Knowledge of SOAPUI
Interface test tools: Selenium, Katalon Studio, Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Rational Functional Tester (RFT), Ranorex, etc.
Experience using open-source automation frameworks: Appium, Selenium Webdriver, Spring, JBehave
Experience with Rally (preferred)
Must have strong Test Automation
Must have JavaScript development, performed development using JavaScript
Must be an excellent verbal English communicator
Comfortable talking to multiple levels of people
