Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) Information Technology Group’s (ITG) telecommunications service requests and project coordination.
Uses ticketing systems to coordinate small to medium-sized telecommunications projects (i.e., new circuits, facility and staff relocations) and service requests (i.e., new IP phones, voicemail, call center services, phone accessories, headsets, etc requests based on repeatable standards and practices.
Develops, documents and implements standard work processes.
Acts as a liaison for the agency with the state’s telecomm provider (AZNet
Obtains quotes and processes telecomm equipment orders.
Monitors service requests and projects, provides status updates and escalates as appropriate.
Provides assistance to other team members or project managers as needed.
The primary position responsibilities are accomplished within an office setting through the ticketing system, phone calls, emails and/or occasional meetings with customers. This is NOT a remote/field position with travel to the customer’s location.
Any other duties as assigned.
